Option to "anchor" pic other than top-left corner

Pictures are always displayed from the top-left corner, for example, if you drag a "portrait" format picture to the top-right of your monitor, a subsequent "landscape" picture will be cropped.

Would be nice if you could choose the corner the picture is "anchored" to.
